regarding "NTLDR was missing" error, i wish it was as simple as this.... #reply-15479462

also, i just experienced the exact same thing with master boot record having changed (per nav) in win98se. the coincidence of it was that i had just downloaded a picture from email and ran a precautionary virus scan on it on my hard drive prior to opening it. the master boot record changed warning was a bit unnerving. i have to remember what the heck i did. i believe that i repaired. or maybe i went back to the last good copy. yes, i think i did that. was that an option, do you recall?

i'll try to help with your NTLDR thing. first tell me if you have a non-system disk in your floppy drive
