Yeah, the Barron's article on IBM is pretty derivative. It's a rehash of the latest Grant's article, which I think is basically an update of previous Grant's articles.

In addition to Earlie's excellent analysis, Fred Hickey and Grant's have been quoted here pretty extensively in the past on the so-wonderful IBM story.

As an ex-beemer whose sig other is a current beemer, I follow this one pretty closely and have a significant core short position. I lost money on my employee stock in 1989 and I have a long, long memory. They owe me.
