All I can say is Christie "Slim" Whitman must be real proud of herself these days for taking the EPA job and having to champion higher arsenic levels in drinking water after a solid environmental record in N.J. Ol' George pulled a slick one with her ... knocked her down a few pegs (probably because she's a woman AND a moderate Republican) and paid off his coal industry lackey pals at the same time for the millions of bucks of soft money they sent his way last year.

This'll teach women in D-Dubya-I's cabinet to think for themselves without clearing such with the Good Ol' Boy Network first.
