Me too. Though the pace of layoffs so far this year is very scary. But lower energy prices will help, if they do occur.

But I have a question for you. In your opinion, why is the dollar still strong in spite of the massive and continuing curr accnt deficit ? And is your position that eventually the deficit will cause either 1- a weak dollar and inflation, or 2- the Fed will be forced to raise interest rates to defend the dollar, and therefor cause a recession ?
