OK, but I think we go to 1500 on the nasdaq before 2000. But if we can stand a little pain, I do not think 3400 is out of the question by the end of the year.

Do you watch the McLaughlin group? I am sure you will be singing the praises of Buchanan soon. He is as anti-Republican as any Democrat. He says the dollar is going to collapse. It depends. Japan is just about on the verge of the right upward leg of a W and it looks very energetic.

As for Greenspan. I agree with Kudlow, Interest rates should be below 2 year bond rates.

But you see, the blame lies with Clinton. It is not the interest rates that caused economic downturn. It is energy prices. Clinton became so emboldened with his appeasement theory and help the other countries helps out bs, that he urged OPEC to tighten production so Russia can make more profit from oil.
