Along with that I've heard that once the collision occurred the P-3 tried to head back to Kadena AFB in Okinawa but the remaining Chinese fighter fired a number of rounds as a warning and "escorted" (basically highjacked) our plane to China! For this we should say we were in the wrong just to placate the Chinese? I THINK NOT!
