I especially like the photo of the two person kayak at sunset, or was that sunrise? Hope that I can ask you some questions and you won't mind responding. Have you been using any Digital equipment? Have you tried any underwater photography yet? I am also curious about who you went through to set up your website. I have been contemplating setting up a webpage or a website for some of my photos but I am still looking around at what is available. I hope to hear a reply. TIA, bbgold :^) It is such a light day with messages so I hope no one minds this diversion. The digitial equipment that I use is on the scan end and Photoshop. Digital camera are great for news but most magazines still do not use them and the quality still is not there compared to film. It will get there one day, however, probably withing 3-5 years. PC Photo is THE magazine for whats what with digital. The scanner I use is a Nikon LS-2000 but for most personal needs (non-professional) some of the new digital cameras are probably the way to go. PhotoDeluxe is a stripped down version of Photoshop at about 1/5 the cost and for most needs should be quite sufficient. Underwater photography is very very difficult IMHO. If you are only an occasional diver, it is not worth the equipment cost (as the cost for good equipment is huge). Cheap underwater cameras are terrible IMHO. Plus, you really have to be a great diver and have great control to get close enough to fish without shooting their tails. I have underwater equipment but it was a waste of $ for the amount of times I go diving. The apostle Islands kayak shot was at sunrise. Which that far north in mid-summer means you are up on the water damn early. I scanned the images for my website myself, and the design was mine, but the site itself was set up by a friend. Thanks for the compliments and for those not knowing what we are discussing: www.MichaelShedlock.Com M
