I agree CB, judgements based on physical appearance are almost always better left unsaid.

On another topic, while I don't agree with the premise that there are a lot of undervalued Internet companies at this time, the last line in this article may be something to watch for. <g>

" We'll know the bloodbath is finally over when Buffett buys an Internet company."

it's funny (in a sad way) to see men - especially on these boards where most of the dudes probably aren't themselves living images of adonis - making fun of the way women look.

the truth be told, most any woman can 'have' most any man she wants, at least sexually.

it's all in the hands and the voice.

when you wrote, "You guys have fun. I don't need this."

i take that to mean you're leaving this discussion thread.

if that is the case, i for one regret to see you go. your contributions will be missed.

if you will, please consider coming back (but i wouldn't blame you if you never did).

a crow and a canary were both sitting on a perch one day. the canary started to sing and the crow interrupted. the crow said that he had the better singing voice. the canary said, no, everyone knows that canaries have sweeter voices. the crow duped the canary into a contest whereby the next animal in the kingdom that comes by would listen to them both sing, and the one that the animal voted for would be declared as the one with the better voice. so, a pig comes by. the pig listens to them both and declares the crow to have the better voice. the canary starts to cry. the crow says to the canary "you shouldn't cry. you lost fair and square. don't cry because you lost". the canary replies "i'm not crying because i lost, i'm crying because for who i let judge me".

I apologize for posting that joke. I wasn't thinking of anyone when I hung that up there. Especially since I've never seen anyone on this thread in my life. Plus I wouldn't believe anyone's description of themselves on an internet message board.

Again, my apologies.

CB, it is good that you speak up because fat people are one of the few minority groups that it is still acceptable to bash. They face all sorts of discrimination. By speaking up you make people reflect - they should remember the golden rule. When KIS made his comments about Niles - he was harshly criticized. I have not suffered any form of discrimination myself but have seen how cruel people could be since grade school. I recall this one AZW would taunt this girl relentlessly and I suppose he really helped to undermine her self esteem - a scar that never quite heals. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for you as do many on this thread. Mike

** OT **

CB,

Think of it this way...

Most master pieces, (nude), have been paintings of what is known of "Rubenesque" ladies. There has to be a reason for it...

The skinny ones are good to model dresses (who most women cannot fit in them anyway).

Women and wine have good things in common, the older, fuller bodies, more round and with more character are easily the best.

So perhaps it is to someone's loss that they cannot, (or perhaps do not know how to), enjoy these qualities in a lady, since like good wines, the fuller bodies always will give, (and enjoy), the larger pleasures of life.

Here are some examples.... enjoy them all:

btw... I have seen the original of this one and it is indeed better than the Internet version of it.

and the three graces...

some from T. Veccellio

abcgallery.com

also from T.V. one of my favorites:

this is Titian's version of Ruben's Venus above:

Then look at Venus and Adonis...

abcgallery.com

Look at these beauties...

abcgallery.com

So you see... why would these masters immortalize these full figured ladies... ? Not only were they beautiful, they knew how to live life...er... to its fullest

No bone arses here -gg-

So please don't leave us, continue showing us that full figure and smarts are better than skinny bones and deadbrains.
