Cool A nice person from the other thread<gg< I hope you had a nice wknd and relaxed. I think the bottom is near and we will have up and down days. I made a decision to try and hold for the next yr. I really believe these stks will be higher 12 months from now. Too much bear noise and most bears hv gotten complacent.... thinking there is no bottom.I screwed up selling extr friday because of my fears..and I should be afraid. I hv backed off from S & I because of the noise. I can't pick a bottom but I can pick a standing place...will hold a little buying power ..pay down my debts...keep focused on my mgr tech job<chips<..I may come to the point where I ck the afternoon news to see how the mkt did. Wouldn't it be a bullish sign when the extreme bulls like on this thread hv gone bearish ...it's happening. This has been a valuable learning lesson and I don't/won't make a double whammy by thinking it's the end of the world. Let's wait to see if the we get better guidance next qtr. Think about how the bar has been lowered and how much better the chance could be next yr to beat this yrs earnings. I like medium caps because they don't need so much to keep fed. Good Luck my friend and I hope your not one of those bears who missed the last/next bull mkt. Even the chartman on st.com is buying and he has been a huge bear...fox channel. I will talk with you next yr on who made a good/bad decision...just like the old days...investing. Trying to get my harley running today. .sat up a yr and needs oil/carb cleaning.I was smart enuf to take a lot my money out and spend on toys/vacs/dogs/charity/cars/property and pay 1/2 my house in cash......Bot my harley in 95 and hv less than 2000 miles on it. angelfire.com
