Yes, but a "tulip bubble" event in the POG has currency ramifications worldwide, that creates the impression that causes unjustfiable, and inordinate, valuation concerns about fiat currencies. It also could lead to certain nations demanding payment in gold, as was seen back in the '70s with the OPEC cartel, that creates additional pressure on global economies.

This is why I believe gold must be demonetized and the sole value of fiat based upon economic performance and policies of the nation that currency represents.
