Well the utility sure doesn't have the cash to pay back 2.2 b. So something will have to be sold. Either way I don't think the bank get's made whole. Can't imagine there are any buyers out there who wouldn't demand a huge discount. Still it's hard for me to be believe the judge would sell such a huge utility off in pieces like a standard bk. Maybe all the debt holders get forced to take equity in a settlement? Bank of NY can sure kiss the interest payments goodbye though. So what? 7 months of no interest on 2.2 b? Gotta hurt a little bit, imo. What a mess.

2.2 b is a big hunk of change. Too bad they don't have a branch near me, I'd like to buy a nice Lexus repo. ;o{}}}}}
