From GS's Morning Outlook Report this morning .... a snippet from GS's downgrading of RadioShack from Mkt Outperformer to Mkt Performer: ****** RSH reported March same-store sales growth of 7% vs. 14% in the year-ago period, and following 9% and 7% in January and February, respectively, resulting in 7% same-store sales growth for the first quarter. PC sales declined, following three months of growth against industry-wide trends. Wireless sales grew roughly 15% in units, accelerating from a single-digit pace, but still off from the pace of growth in last year's second half. DIRECTV sales increased over 20%, off from February's pace, but still above rates posted in December and January. Audio/Video sales, excluding DIRECTV, posted an upper-single-digit increase, up from February, but still under pressure against liquidation of private-label Optimus speakers in February and March of last year. ********* Michael
