It's way too warm for now. Still shy of the record.

Lady is the mare's name, my mistake for not mentioning it. Breeders do a sonogram to make sure there's not two embryos or pinch one off if there are two. On a horse it's different than on a person. The vet has to stick his arm shoulder deep up the mare's ass with the probe. Iodine his arm for the mare's protection and have a steel plate for his protection.

The second embryo hadn't implanted or the stud had some real long lived sperm. The colt's lungs hadn't developed, happens with horses that have white on them. The filly came out alive and sucking the mare. Lemons to lemonaide.

Sue bred the mare and got Jenghis Kahn. He's 8" taller than either parent. I got a really nice picture of him at two days rearing up. He's a flat ugly plain sorrel but he's really cute. He follows people like a dog. His mama gave up protecting him on day two when he could dodge her.
