Tim, if 10% control 28% of the US's wealth and Norway's 10% control just 21.2% of its wealth which of the remaining 90% is richer...the US's or Norway's? In Norway it might be pretty close but I think the US would still be ahead if you compare the bottom 90%. Norway would be ahead if you compare the bottom 25%. Exactly where the cross over happens I don't know. Why is it we can't seem to grasp the simple concept...we are only as good as the least of us? Three values compete here. Equality, freedom, and economic efficiency. The US gives relatively more weight to the last two, Norway to the first. Tim
