I think you are not giving appropriate respect to another feature of the QCOM chart. See the large red triangle. These things are coils -- in keeping with the metaphor, they store energy. When they break they usually result in nice moved in the direction of the break and often offer reasonably reliable targets. The Q seems here to want to leave this triangle on the weekly.

I been harping on QCOM for a couple of weeks, as I did for GE and some others that I can recall, only because they are offering good setups. I get far less excited when there is only one factor at play. When 3 or more factors all lean in the same direction, I get excited.

The great entry has probably passed now, but it's still a good r:r short setup if it pops back to the high $40's.

If, somehow, it were to go the other way, then this would tell me that there is an underlying fundamental shift and I would want to be long as it will have defeated the equivalent of the young girl from Crouching Tiger. -g
