Oh, please. We are talking about a specific action in time. Let's keep this focused. I've not the time or inclination of arguing historical atrocities here, if you want to get into that I'd suggest you pick an easier nation to defend than China. I would like to think that we are a more enlightened US than the one at the turn of the century or WWII but I would not be surprised if the US gov't 'detained' all Chinese Americans who spoke in accented English if war broke out between the US and China. You should not be either....xenophobia in the US is hardly dead. ted
