If the gold is to be only jewelry, not an investment, $200 is more than enough. I'm convinced that "You are your own worst enemy" fits most of the gold companies. Wonder if they realize that for people born after 1974 gold is really nothing more than necklace or ring. Another few years, maybe is too late already, and the companies who are now so proud to produce gold at $60/oz. will be same subject of shortselling what other producers with not so lucky deposits facing now. And I'll be the first one to do so.
