James:

you still have time to short Amazon. Remember that NBCi was trading over 100+, and now is at 2. Amazon is trading at 11, and will go to 2 as well. :o)

hj, the loss actually reported to the sec will be STAGGERING. amzn is excluding interest costs, goodwill costs and investment losses when they report their "pro forma" loss and compare it to the analysts' all up loss expectation. probably some ether expenses, too.

add those expenses back in an and, voila, amzn is losing well over $1 million a day.

bottom line is that amzn MISSED estimates very badly. they lost well over 40 cents a share. i can't believe what takes me 10 seconds to see is invisible to amzn longs...

>A person has to be blindedly bullish if he/she owns 40 million shares of Amazon.
Couldn't agree more, but Millers the reason I didn't short Amzn on its last leg down.:-(

James,

When I read the article, I was thinking how could Miller say anything negative since he is currently under water with 40 million shares? That would be uterally stupid.
