jhp, they use "pro forma profits" and "profits" so that one does not know what "profits" means anymore - i think that IS the point.

the 30 cent loss wasn't listed as a "pro forma loss." the 22 cent "pro forma loss" was compared to the expected "loss."

amzn's real "loss" is north of 40 cents a share.

was the estimate "pro forma" or not - and nobody is asking that question, they are too busy buying shares on what they *think* is good news.
