George, As I have stated numerous times- Bush is an incompetent President, but has very good marketing types behind him. How else could a moron like him have gotten in the White House? Scumbria

George, You defined a scenario as being orchestrated (with no supporting evidence whatsoever) Tons of evidence. 1. Bush talks incessantly about declining economy. Market drops like a rock. 2. Phoney back end loaded tax cut passes. 3. Bush immediately sees signs of recovery. (Which signs, the poor earnings announcements from the end of last week?) It is occuring exactly as I predicted. Next phase is going to be Bush taking credit for the "recovery" because of his phoney tax cut. Scumbria
