And you are not impartial either. If it was so incredibly persuasive I would probably believe it. I don't desperately want it not to be true- you are mistaken there. I don't "desperately", anything. I leave that for others. Desperation seems a silly thing to waste life units on.

I don't believe in reason and science in a religious way, that is true. Neither do I believe in any religion in a religious way. I surf the probabilities- in the way Kholt suggested. What seems likely, I go with. If what seems likely changes tomorrow, I don't really care. I do not think you understand anything about what I think or how I process the world. Of course maybe you do and you are just not communicating it to me in a way I understand. I'll leave that open as a remote possibility. And I doubt I can understand the way you do. But I do suggest you quit trying to tell me what I want or what I think.
