I just wonder how we would feel if China had done this.. 1) Bombed and killed some of our people in an embassy by mistake. We would have apologized for building our embassy in such a bad location 2) Landed a spy plane in FL. We would not have boarded and looted it but we would have the EPA investigate whether any endangered species had been impacted, and then would would have turned it into the newest Orlando theme park.

If the Chinese landed an information gathering plane in Florida because it was severely damaged because one of our hot dog pilots flew much too close to it, then there is absolutely no doubt in my mind we would not have taken their military personnel hostage, unless of course some of them wanted to defect! <g> The accidental bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade was a horrible mistake, and of course an appropriate apology was warranted in that situation.
