These verses are supposed to prove??????
The first is talking about the inauguration of His kingdom, which begins with His incarnation, and extends past the second coming into eternity. The second is a warning against those who were claiming, by way of false writings and preaching, that Christ had already returned, and that the Thessalonians had missed the boat. He will return, but the timing is up to Him. Jesus came first to die for the sins of all those who will come to Him. He will come again to Judge the sins of all those who "will not have this man to rule over us". I thought you said Jesus taught that He would return within the lifetime of the Apostles? I don't see that taught there, do you?
