You only quoted half of my post. Network speed is the key to improving computer performance. They are the leaders in that technology.

They have an essential product and a low stock price.

Cisco's problems are more than market conditions. First, Juniper has been eating CSCO's lunch; secondly, for a company that can't quite grow innovations from within, CSCO no longer commands the kind of lofty stock price necessary to do costly acquisitions. In short, the entire business model of CSCO is now subject to intense skepticism.
