I tried in my previous post that you said lacked a thesis to point out how frequent women are raped, or at least are subjected to attempted rape. It is so common that at least half of my female friends have been through it. This was what these stupid rules were set up to eliminate. To have them perverted to be used as codes of conduct to be judged is what everyone should be concerned about. The reason they were set up still exists. At what point does an honest come on turn into rape? This is for a court to decide not some stupid panel with an agenda. Do you think we should go back to ignoring that such things exist and not attempt to stop rapists? Hope you never have to spend the night in jail. You think women relinquish their right not to be hit on when they dress provocatively, I agree, but at what point does the come on become a threat? At what point does sexy talk sound like a prelude to sexual violence? You cannot ignore that women have violence committed against them daily in the country, the statistics are overwhelming and completely under reported. The burden of preventing rape has always been on women which in itself is ludicrous. How do I modify your behavior? It can't be done. I don't think it's a bad thing for men to be taught that they should get agreement from the women they wish to have sex with and it should be verbal because a lot of men have this annoying habit of thinking if they are having fun everyone is having fun. I can attest that many men who rape, even men who have raped very young children mistakenly think that the victims were into it as much as they were. It's that type of misunderstanding the codes were set up to prevent, but to take it to the level where all interaction between men and women is subjected to an outside panel is ludicrous and it trivializes the pain felt buy those that have been true victims of sexual violence.
