Had to bail on the Q play, will see which way the wind is blowing tomorrow.

A break to the upside and I will be playing long for it to get to $50.

JRI,

re Today seemed odd.....semi's/equipment get killed, then come back well at end-of-day

I'd say things are "odd".

Just looking at the news on the SOX
biz.yahoo.com

First on Thursday (April 5th) we get some news that Dell is going to save the stock market.

dailynews.yahoo.com

Well that one worked (amazingly) in getting the market boosted. So lets try something even more fantastic
Let the semi's big guns quietly reach new lows (careful there folks) and see (wait for it) if AMZN can boost the market!

Monday April 9th
dailynews.yahoo.com

HEY! Even that worked too!! Well, sort of. AMZN up 40% at one time!

I smell sucker punch coming from tech (or something else) soon. Probably some "news".

Don't get me wrong. I am not trying say anything particularly bullish here. OK I bought some INTC calls
on Friday and they are down 40%, sour grapes talking , but it's the second time around I bought them -g- My overall view agrees with Carl Swenlins view... The trend is DOWN, and it will need lots of stopping.

The "news" on Dell and AMZN are thinly disguised props to keep the market from falling too quickly imo, no matter how such activity is accomplished. I'm not suggesting any wrong doing, just as I see it.

So, to sum up, I'm expecting some tech news soon, don't know what it is, but as tech are at the lows, we should get a nice boost from it.

pearly.
