I think you'll find if you check that most (all?) of that stuff now comes "in the box" with Solaris and has for some time. Whatever doesn't is trivially available -- if you know you need/want it, you can find it.

You believe a lot of things without doing the basic research before posting your "opinion", sorry if facts that differ from your "opinion" don't match reality and you feel this is a personal thing.

Perhaps and education before posting such OS bigotry would be helpful.
