Some of us prefer taking the pulse of individual issues rather than making blanket assumptions based on "all other tech companies".

I think that many on this thread have posted good reasoning as to why NTAP can avoid a disappointment even in a recessionary environment. You certainly have a right to not be convinced.

I suspect that Uncle Frank's skepticism towards your opinion is based on the fact that you hold the fundamental performance of "all other tech companies" in higher esteem than the fundamental performance of one company, viewed on it's own merits.

I might suggest the following link as just one example of why your strategy may be fatally flawed: finance.yahoo.com

I guess that BEAS is not one of the group known as "all other tech companies".
