Well I guess my choice of words was poor. Compelling trades I should have said. I have been buying old eco stocks along though. Real companies that have not cooked the books.

The thing is, nobody is expecting any good news out of Cisco. Everyone is expecting lower earnings, writeoffs, no visibility, etc. The market has been reacting strangely to news. I've been following the semis and semi-equips, and I've listened to 3-5 companies warn after the bell, every day for months. And the stocks are as likely to be up as down the next day. It's weird. I wouldn't be surprised at Chambers shouting "sell CSCO!", and the stock going up (briefly).
