Aus,

re: That's only a little funny, John.

I was only trying to be a little funny. All of their measure are backward looking.

re: Right now SanDisk only has a NOR flash controller on the shelves
and the annual report lists the development of the NAND controller
as a business risk. I find it hard to believe that we will have
NAND flash pouring out of Dominion soon and no proven NAND-based
controller to utilize. I find the annual report difficult in
this regard.

I don't think I would worry wrt to that. But who knows?

I still wish we could find a way to measure end user demand for digital cameras. The Best Buy's still say they are one of their strongest categories, but the SanDisk's are primarily blaming the OEM's for soft sales.

I also wonder about the capacity coming on line. Any idea what Dominion's capacity represents as a percentage of demand?

I am puzzled also.

John

Aus, do you remember anything about this:

I was just cleaning out some old annual reports, and I found this in the report from Socket Communications last year:

"We are working with SanDisk Corp. to create combination input/output and memory cards by adding removable flash memory to our current connection products. These combination cards are expected to be available in the third quarter of 2000."

Have you seen anything about this being on the market?
