the advice is obviously meant for those that have erroneously bought into WS's 'buy and hold' mantra. looking at mutual fund flows over the past two years, it's pretty obvious many individual investors are in fact trapped in the bear market. if you have sold in time, you are not part of this silent suffering majority and need not be concerned with the advice.
