late last night a govn. spokesperson said ... the pilot slowed down after the plane had made two passes and was coming up on a third pass. the other passes were within 3 feet. As he slowed down the jet plane's tail hit the prop? on the left engine, came across and hit the nose of the plane and broke in half. Pieces of the plane hit the rear of plane and knocked out more controls. The wing's flaps wouldn't work. the plane was dropping fast and he was preparing to give the command to bail out when he did get control of the plane. With the nose part out they had no idea of air speed. They mentioned the rumors to nuke site, new ship, etc as false'
