I realize you are only speculating, G, but even though you have expressed this idea plainly, I believe it fatally short-sighted. If your scenario plays out Russia becomes Europe's supplier of oil lost from Islamic sources. Maybe this is a problem? I don't know whether oil from the North Sea area meets all of Europe's needs. Euro Europe is close to critical mass. I think it's going to come up a dud. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST! m
