canmar, Alcan has been on a steady rise since October 2000 with numerous good news releases along the way. Except for the larger than usual pullback in March this year, it continues to rise. My guess is that traders are jumping on because the equity curve has fallen behind it's trendline, perhaps representing better value at this point and starting to do a catchup.

If it is in catchup mode, it will make for good day-trading opportunity. Good heads-up.

Keep an eye on Bombardier BBD.B today: they finally announced the long-awaited Air Wisconsin deal. Good luck to all with your trades.
Late edit: Not sure how the mkts. will react to the deal being announced, since Embraer has taken this case to the WTO (subsidies).
