An interesting thought. I was at my brokerage a couple of years back and saw a woman depositing a pile of DELL certificates. They didn't look like they were very counterfeit proof. I thought, why would anyone go to the trouble of counterfeiting currency when they could just do a few thousand DELL (it was well over 100 that day) and open accounts with several brokers, deposit the certs, sell, and then wire the money out of the country. OK, they probably have some kind of security in place to make sure this doesn't happen, don't they?

Regards,

Barb
