Jimbobwea, I partially agree. RBOC's are willing to allow HSIA IF they have their stinkin mitts on revenue flows. The price of DSL has stopped it downtrend. Por que? No competiotion. Why would BellSouth wanna give up revs based on switched model for splash in the IP pond? A call to a neighbor requiring no more or less than a call to China? (Get that Premier dude on the line, I wanna talk to him)

It was also the evaporization of consumers dicretionary $$$$. Demand pushing supply. More apps requiring more Bw forces the issue. I wanna be laying on the beach, tanning my hairy rump, watching Apocalpyse Now on an Irwin Jacobs' CDMA boombox.

Champaigne wishes and 3G dreams.

P.S. I know better than to argue with a mick.
