Thanks, Your method makes sense.

I prefer to say "I took a 0.5% position" or "sold 12% of my 6% position" where the first indicates I am making a "first buy equal to 0.5% of my total investment portfolio" and the last means "I had 6% in that stock until I sold off 12% of my position". To me, that speaks more of the overall level of commitment.

one might assume a "position" for some here is 25% of their net worth and for others, it is pocket change for entertainment (i.e. far less than 1% of net worth)

To me, a level of conviction has meaning once it goes over 0.5% of investment portfolio (fixed plus equities)

Anyway... I STILL stick to my guns that the bottom was put in back in Dec. and I wish you the worst of luck until you go long again! 8)

(BTW, I DO have funds to buy should we do a serious test of the old low...just I am not holding my breath)
