I just heard the same thing about Chicago, "prices will never go down". I did read, maybe Les posted it, that 44% of the homes purchased in 1999 were by new home buyers. Maybe the demand curve has shifted, causing a shortage on the supply curve.

Dunno. I was banking on people going broke, not supply / demand imbalances.
