Some observations on observations:

Most people who follow this forum are just dropping in the market occasionally, not going wire to wire every day. I post regularly with news and comments regardless. This thread fortunately doesn't need or have to put up with 100 gibberish chat posts a day like some. I actually prefer 10-20 good posts with good information.

Some folks are mostly in cash or very low beta stocks, just not risking holding a whole portfolio. But I agree that anyone mostly long should be bouncing well on the up days and hopefully outperforming a bit on down days too.

"- I'm not usually in the business of financial advice, but if your portfolio didn't rise during last Thursday or today's rally.. something is wrong with your portfolio, and it should be looked at. Personally, I have a high-beta portfolio, so that didn't happen.".
..and I'm grateful to you for that. <gg>
