re; What is it specifically that you hate about the software?

Crashes, bugs and the three finger salute.

And, what would you do to make the software better, if you could?

Port MSOffice to Linux, Solaris and HPUX.

Every version obsoletes the drivers of the previous version. Overpriced. Buggy, and degrades over time, requiring periodic reinstallations. Little thought given to security during design. etc.
