>>Many moons before Clinton came into office...financial analysts and market strategists have always said that the market looks at least six months ahead...I suppose they saw Bush coming.....

The Clinton Bear Market started in March 2000. Looks like they feared Gore - remember the economy virtually stopped while the Dems were trying to steal FL.

>>That's really funny...I watched a taped interview of George Bush Sr. a few months ago where he was blaming Greenspan for losing the election for him....not pushing down interest rates fast enough to get out of the recession in time for the election...

You're really funny and clueless too. There was a recession from July 1990 to March 1991. The economy was growing for about two years and at over a 4% rate when Clinton first disgraced office.

Clinton lied repeatedly about the state of the economy - claiming "the worst economy in 50 years". Bush told the truth about the Clinton slump.
