Why? With many quality stocks (no-debt; proven management; cyclical earnings) trading at multi-year lows, why buy a stock that may be entering bankruptcy? The entire market to choose from -- this one should be the last one to buy.

I'm searching for any reason to buy this stock -- even just for a small position. I haven't found one.

FWIW I took a diminished risk approach to this one. Buy stock and sell 2 leaps(03) at 7 1/2 strike. My net cost .75 per ratio write. Almost no upside risk because the company is not a suitable takeover candidate and the 2/1 write should be worth 1-2 even in strong recovery. My expectations are that the stock will crawl back to 5 or so in next year.
