albert: "intel margin requirements (together with commercial market control) would not allow that in the near future" Even with existing product lineup, INTC may not stem the AMD tide...If the palomino family of products, when launch, provides significant additional enhancements over and above the Athy, I would guess AMD premiums vis a vis comparable INTC product will happen sooner than most think possible...just as Athy's success occcurred in the face of seemingly insurmountable "hiden hand?" obstacles in a shorter span than most would have drempt possible at the outset!!! Just need a flawless launch of the mobile pony and pony server to set this next phase in spectacular performance by AMD in motion!!!
