I'm not hoping for anything. I take what happens.

The Arms index signals a market bottom, not necessarily a semi equipment sector bottom. The two Arms signals before the one last month occurred on Nov 30.1987 and Oct.27.1997 - nowhere near a semi equipment bottom.

The sector sentiment could get more negative when people are 'surprised' that orders and btb continue to fall a few more months.

Other than that I agree with everything you said. :)
