Thanks for the heads up, Mama Bear. I thought there was no way to edit, but I don't recall reading that Spy reversed his position until today. What I do recall is him tossing the same language at me that I tossed at him, only he ran to (Mama) SI to complain about it. More on point, I recall him proclaiming to this thread that the stock was going to $10, and that all the longs here were a bunch of "dumbasses" (something to that effect), which is why I was surprised to read today that he had reversed his position. So much for his credibility. The bottom line, Mama, is that it doesn't make much difference whether his post was revised or not. But that was not the real reason for your post, was it? The record shows that my initial comments to Spy were "on the money." He was nervous. For weeks and months he could dish it, but when the tide turned against him, he couldn't take it, not even once without being rude. His only interest here was to manipulate, but to do so behind the mask of objective analysis. What do you at SI do about this? About the same as the SEC . . . not much. The typical response is for the buyer to beware. Unfortunately, it sometimes takes a little showdown to instill this common sense into some investors' head. Consequently, no matter how distasteful you (and I) found my discourse, my intent here was to "clean up" the discussion here and improve the VALUE of the community here, not detract from it. I willing to wager that many folks here have learned something from this confrontation. As far as "[me] and [my] friends, " I have no clue what you are talking about. There's no conspiracy here. Where did you get that conclusion? By reading the several PMs I rec'd congratulating me for standing up to this stock trading bully? And a far as your reference to the "mud," its true that Spy was not the most civil person here, but sometimes it takes a little mud to clean up the stench created on a thread by someone such as him. I assume if you're intelligent so you know exactly what I'm talking about. So please, spare me the lecture, and if you must, do so via PM. That's what they're use for. And isn't that really the reason for you posting here today?
