Yeah, Agere a Lucent spinoff. The WSJ article I posted a link for suggested that a cellphone with 802.11 built in might be cheaper than the expected cell products. The author suggested Agere could possibly wreck lucent itself. The author was installing an Agere antenna on his own roof...his cellphone won't reach his home territory. If I understand his point correctly, others in his neighborhood might thus use HIS home internet connection. Dell sells notebooks with the necessary card and antenna installed. Dan B
