That is the stuff of which international relations are made. Do you know anything at all about politics? Character and circumstances are constantly weighed, by both allies and rivals, in estimating the clout of the top people. Saddam Hussein miscalculated, figuring he could roll Bush pere, and we had a war. No one will make such a miscalculation about Bush fils........
