Heinz, ALL, I work for semi company. We sell to CSCO, LU, NT, COMS ..
My company has already announced lots of bad stuff.Just got to my office from lunch. This e-mail was in my inbox:
***This is a broadcast email please do not reply to the sending address***

We are currently facing difficult times in the semiconductor industry which have resulted in a significant decline in our bookings and sales. I do not believe that we will see any real improvement during the remainder of this fiscal year.

Effective immediately, the following measures are in effect in order to conserve cash and preserve the financial flexibility of Mitel Corporation in the coming quarters:

1. Hiring freeze
New hires, if absolutely essential, and all existing contracts with more than 60 days to run for temporary labor or consultants will be approved by myself.

2. Capital expenditure freeze
CECAs for emergency or critical expenditures will be approved by myself.

3. Non-essential spending to be curtailed
Purchases of materials and services will be limited to essential spending in order to fulfill customers orders. All discretionary spending will be curtailed.

4. Non-essential travel to be curtailed
Travel will be limited to essential business with customers and suppliers and essential business within Mitel for operational effectiveness.

I remain very excited about the Company’s future prospects and thank you for your help and understanding as we work through this slow market.
