Chuck VSH hit intraday $17 yesterday and today it closed above $20 no news no nothing but a 18% swing.

It is not the only stock that has similar price action.

HOW TO ESCAPE FROM A BEAR:

(adapted in part from the book Worst-Case Scenario
2001 Survival guide by Joshua Piven and David Borgenicht)

(Included among other hot topics: HOW TO RAM a CAR out of your way. And HOW TO LEAP from a MOVING CAR. Those topics are best left for another day.)

*I have added my editorial comments where appropriate (italicized)*

1. If you see a bear but it does not see you, make your presence known and back away. Talk loudly, clap, sing, or call out. Whatever you do, be heard: it does not pay to surprise a bear. There is no guaranteed minimum safe distance from a bear: the further the better.

2. If you are in a car, remain in your car. Do not get out, even to take a picture or have a ham sandwich. Do not impede the bear from crossing the road. He may scratch your BMW.

3. If you have a gun. SHOOT the bear. GIVE it lots of flesh wounds. TRY to piss the bear off. If you run out of bullets. Throw your gun at the bear. It can't hurt.

4. If the bear looks as if it is about to attack, do not run- remain still and say a prayer. Remember, Bears can run much faster than humans, and bears can climb trees. However, documented attacks (AND I FOUND THIS QUITE INTERESTING) show that an attack by a mother black bear often ends when the person stops fighting.

5. If you are lying still and the bear attacks, strike back with anything you have. Go for the bears eyes or mouth. If the bear happens to reside on SI. Don' be afraid. Stand up to the thing and kick the living SH*T out of it.
