Why didn't any women object to this? They believe in fairness, but don't try the same thing with the girl scouts. You are describing one branch of feminist theory, the Exceptionalist branch. Their position is a variation on the "group rights" theme: Women deserve special treatment in the eyes of the law because of their nature, psychology years of suppression, etc. An accusation of rape, for exmaple, must be believed without question. Catherine MacKinnon is a proponent of this hate group. The point I want to make is that feminists are made up of different theories and interests. Its not really monolithic, although seems that way sometimes because the media likes to inflate some people's importance. Have you noticed that all the current feminist heroines/authors are absolutely beautiful? Naomi Wolf? Susan Faludi? Sherrie Hite in spike heels? Another internal contradiction within the "movement". Fighting against pressures to look good (Lookism if you will) but using spokeswomen who are super attractive. Doc Stone

What a pile of useless crap just like the trash that came out of the '60s. Remember? That's the era whose standards you don't approve(too much free love). Did you not read it is choice. If one is comfortable with numerous bed partners that is their choice if one isn't that is their choice. It is the person if i wanted to seduce sixteen men it is easier for me as a woman to seduce sixteen men than it is for the man to seduce sixteen women in one night. What I select is my choice. I believe it was a woman who did so. I don't believe it was fair as i feel there are many participants in boy scouts that are female In our troop the girls were the sisters of brothers and we didn't find this an issue i was there too I am female. This was a social outing and a great thing for kids pending on the troop leaders level of care. I see this as happy time with children of both genders and adults not the mess that some person made of it due to the word boy .
